Which audio formats can I convert?

Choose FLAC, WAV or M4A files stored on your device. MP3 output is supported at 128, 192, 256 and 320 kbps. The 80 MiB limit is a beta safeguard and does not guarantee all files will work on every device.

Will MP3 improve audio quality?

No. MP3 is lossy. Converting lossless FLAC or WAV to MP3 makes smaller files at the cost of quality. Converting AAC-based M4A to MP3 adds another lossy encoding step.

How is privacy protected?

The media stays on your device, although the browser downloads the FFmpeg engine from a CDN on first use. Large files can use a lot of memory and take time, especially on phones.
